It has been awhile since I picked up my camera so I fashioned a wreath of flowers and grabbed my sister to pose for me. Every time I take 20+ pictures I see where I have grown and what I need to work on. I didn’t edit these pictures at all mainly, because I do not have wonderful software. I am amazed how far I have gone with manual settings, but in a lot of the pictures I was not paying attention to the composition or the position of her hands. Also a few need to have sharper focus. But all in all it went great and is is so awesome to have sisters! Thanks Ana for being the best model ever!

  1. Well… you SAY you weren’t paying a lot of attention to composition in many of these, but some of them stand out to me as having VERY GOOD compositions! no. 10 just stopped me; and 11, but 1,2, are good, in 8 the staggered trees add interest,18,19 and 20, and 16 is probably my favorite! ❤ or the last one-can't decide! The way she leans in towards the camera is just really sweet. =)
And the rose crown is beautiful- just like your sister. =)
    Good job!!

  2. Emma, these are stunning! May we use one of these to publish with a Tirzah Magazine article in February? We’ll link to your blog and give you credit, of course!
